Where did your groundsman get all that sand - Branscombe?

I'm told he does his daily pitch inspection on a B.M.W. motorcycle !

Snow and freezing temps so lets play a reserves game - brains of a genius!

We had a Slough player taken to hospital for xrays on his leg lasts night so be warned the pitch will be slippery

Staines, the pitch only needs protecting when it is in a condition that would render it impossible to fix for the following match. Last night, as for your game, the cold weather had sufficiently hardened the pitch to allow the games to happen without damaging it further.

As for the snow it had cleared by mid-morning and any water had drained away thanks to the work carried out the other week.

You cannot blame the pitch for the injury to your player. It was caused by two players going for the ball with a hard but fair challenge.

The pitch survived the two games very well and providing that there is no wet weather between now and Saturday our game will go ahead.

Staines Rebel. oh dear oh dear oh dear. Perhaps The groundsman, Windsor Sec, and the entire Windsor board and management team should consult you every time they want to use the pitch, as you’re clearly of higher intelligence and the worlds leading authority on clay based football pitches.

Stop throwing your toys out of the pram, for years Slough have had the upper hand on Windsor, always looking down on us and taking the wee wee. Well now the boot is well and truly on the other foot. Take it like a man and stop acting like a Tottenham fan*.

(Apologies to the small percentage of Spurs fans that don't go round giving it the old "Glamour Club", "Big Club", "We won the FA Cup", "Thierry Henry isn't fit to lace Danny Blanchflower's boots" etc etc nonsense)

May i whole heartedly associate myself with the comments from honourable gentleman above.

I was genuinely shocked by the behaviour of the Spurs fans at work this morning, no well played Aresnal, no humility, class or integrity. In fact i haven't been so shocked since the booses of Southern Trains pulled out of "a meet and great" with Joe Commuter at London Bridge, though to be fair to them they're hardly the first group of lads who've bottled it with Bermondsey's finest.

As for Staines Rebel 1 he's probably a really nice guy who'd let you win a pool and shout you several rounds of drinks if you we're waiting till payday. On here though he comes across as a total moron who's only pleasures in life are talking to young men in cyberspace in between rumaging in hedges for odd pages of last months Razzle magazine.

In other words Totenham played like an average Premiership club, their fans are muppets and this board would be a better place without the likes of SR1.

As you were.

Ps Mr Thistle, i do wish you'd return my phone calls there's a good boy.

Judging by the mud slinging back and forth on various posts by both sides, over something which ultimately is beyond our control, ie. the weather, would it not be prudent of the English FA to consider a winter break system in this country? Games at all levels have been postponed in this period; it's not just smaller clubs that suffer, although they suffer more than most! Our lack of success in major international competitions eg last year's world cup, has been attributed in part to this lack of break by one Owen Hargreaves, due to a punishing schedule. Would this idea be welcomed or shunned, over all levels of football?
