That we were allowed to travel all the way to Manor again second time this month for the ref to call it off again.

 

Why no pitch inspection before hand ?

Try going all the way to Clapton on a Tuesday night for an ETT game for it to be called off at 7pm - twice!! It cost me £13 on the train - non refundable, of course

Thats coz there is no one to look at there pitch.

 

But manor told us at 3pm pitch was fine ( if your a hippo ).

We nearly had the same problem @ Brentwood last Tuesday where the game was almost called off when we got there....

 

They tried their hardest for it to be called off, but Ref over-ruled their groundsman....

 

As for pitch inspections, I guess the referee can't do it during the day, as he probably has a full-time job during the day?

no not in my opinion although i didnt have a good game. was embarrassing in the second half couldnt wait for it to be over. we played really well first half and created loads! all went wrong in 10 minutes of madness.
