Steve Browne strikes again

Those chants have got to come more often, from more people and more regularly through the game. The only way that the waste of space who currently 'manages' our team is going to get the message is if everybody is on his back from the 1st to the 90th minute. If we're winning he can't be let off. There were chants at the end of the Wealdstone match then we beat Oxford so there's nothing. The thing is then look at tonight! Steve Browne must leave before this club goes anywhere. Whatever we do this season (99.9% certain not promotion!) it is an underachievement but the goon thinks he will get away with it. Performances like tonight are a disgrace and I feel deeply saddened to say that tonight I felt embarassed to be a Slough fan. There should be a public apology from the club for the sh*te which we have paid £6 to endure tonight. I just hope that enough fans can now start to work together so that we can get the muppet out of the role that he has never filled with any distinction. BROWNE OUT!

Unfortunately, I think Browne really thinks that he is a good manager.Since the Canvey game, our record in all games is W7 D4 L8. Mid table mediocraty at best, and a fall off from last seasons performance which wasn't earth shattering. Against the bottom of the table side we were very poor for much of tonights match. If you read Browne's notes in the programme though, we are doing allright. He really is out of his depth, but when will he realise that he hasn't got what it takes.

its not even like he hasn't had enough chances.he gets us relegated and is somehow still the manager!!

when the final whistle blew tonight i was angry ,gutted ,sad and embaraced all at once.i really feel sorry for steve coz i would hate to be in his position and i hope he doesn't take the abuse personally, people just want what is best for the club!

and unfortuently that is him gone.at the beginning of the season i said give browne to the end of the season and if we dont get promoted he should go,now even if we do get promoted he should go.lets face it unless he resigns he aint gonna go.so we need to give him some encouragement. SORRY STEVE YOU GOTTA GO!!! IF YOU REALLY CARED FOR THE CLUB YOU WOULD!!!

Although I'd never categorise myself as a Browne fan, the players have to shoulder a lot of the blame for tonight's poor performance. The midfield was bypassed too often, we failed to take account of the blustery conditions and Boot/Winston ran the line too close giving the linesman the opportunity to flag them, incorrectly on many occasions, as offside. They're both quick enough to run from deeper than they did tonight.

I think one of the problems most people have with the manager though, or certainly I do, is that when the players play poorly like tonight he shows no emotion at all or directs them on how to put it right. He would do himself a few favours by being a bit more animated rather than just standing there doing very little.

The team that was supposed to get us promoted in2000/2001 got us relegated---that was the players fault according to Browne. Last seasons problems were the players fault--according to Browne. This season can't surely be the players fault as well---especially as we've just got rid of the ones who weren't living up to expectations. For the third season running, too many players aren't producing the goods, but you can't blame the players all of the time. For the third year running, on paper the team should be near or at the top---but they never will be as long as Browne is around.

BROWNE OUT>

Offside or not offside - how many chances did we waste in front of goal when Tony & Sammy got near?!?! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Having stood for most of the game near the dugouts, the only comments I heard from Steve were directed at the lino. If he puts as much effort into shouting at the lads on the pitch, we might get somewhere... but hopefully not any lower in the league.
