Tonights scores....

Well very interesting results last night. I guess our lads did do their job a tad better then wink Looks like Tranmere had to resend someone back down again last night after being jury out on him from Saturday after not getting a sniff at goal.

Margate look (and looked when we played 'em) a strong outfit and were the best team i have seen in a first half against us. Still, seem to remember our weetabix lads came out second half that day!

There are going to be many points won and many points lost, and our lads know there is no expectation from us the fans - We are just enjoying this season. Does that say something about the commitment and desire the lads are showing i wonder. Of course, we are going to lose games but you know when the lads know themselves they could have done better, and that shows (i believe) the desire they have to succeed.

Well said Keith. Over the past three seasons, we have all enjoyed our football at New Lodge (and away). Thanks must go not only to the management but also to the supporters. You know, I can't remember as many consecutive seasons where I've enjoyed myself so much...and had a laugh as well...

maybe the F A Vase days but they are a dim and distant memory and time does change the perspective somewhat...

No, for the recent history, these are the best of times and hopefully, the can get better...

I think last nights scores just underlines what an equal contest this is this season, and what quality entertainment it should provide over the coming couple of months! You can't rule anyone out of the play-offs from the top half of the table and whilst Margate are developing a small "cushion" there's plenty of time for them to "do a Chelmsford" smile and go on a bad run.

Was that you I saw at the Emirates Stadium, East Thurrock last night then TC.

I must confess that me and the Tache did represent Ricay amongst the 142 (must have been double vision) at East Thurrock last night.

Good result for Margate. Must admit I thought East Thurrock were the better side in the first half (granted wind-assisted) but in the second half Margate looked very comfortable and cruised home really.

Bumped into someone looking very similar to our erstwhile manager M Jones and he was hopeful that we would have a new player in, in time for Saturday's game with Horsham - Let's hope we can manage it this time!!

Memo to self: Going to a game in which you have no real interest when the temperature is minus a grillion is a very stupid thing to do.
