I'll say that to anybody who gives up on the team and is not prepared to support them. Yes it isn't good, last night wasn't pretty but if you want to watch champagne football get yourself a ticket at the Emirate, not Costa Del Stag Meadow

For me now, the only thing that gets me down when watching our games, is when the players don't try.

So far, with the players we currently have, that has not happened. Even at 4 down after a few minutes the players still give it their all.

We know that we are going down, we know we have defensive frailaties, we need to keep giving our support to show the players that we are still behind them (whatever the situation).

Thankfully there will always be supporters who will do that, some travelling long distances to do so. Even if some others feel like they want to run and hide at some other football club.

No doubt they will be back, once we start doing better.

As others have already said, I too will continue to go to matches, home and away, unless it is impossible for me to make it.

COME ON REBELS...yes we lose, but with the correct attitude

Unfortunately due to other arrangements I was unable to make it last night. Whilst the result was disappointing particularly given signs of recent competitiveness I don't think it is fair to criticise these players. They are all giving 100% and most of them are turning out for a pittance.

The players who are responsible for putting us in this position are those that jumped ship for better money in the summer and those that came in and took hefty wages but were not willing to put in the effort. We were desperately poor at the start of the season and certain players were clearly not giving their all. We have subsequently been hit by financial troubles and the main benefit of this has been it has sorted the wheat from the chaff. Those that could not give a stuff have now gone (only a few of the players left us with any credit I'm thinking Michael Alexis for one). Whilst the quality of players we have brought in at the moment may be slightly lacking I would rather watch this side and give them my support rather than the side that took to the field at the start of the season.

at times we deserved to get at least a goal

the first 20 minutes were shocking. just did not seem real even to the players

just after halftime slough were the better side for a good 20 minutes. didnt really have too many chances but looked encouraging. then the defence just dissapeared and it was almost as if it would be a goal every time they attacked.

A quote from the Harrow website match report

"Finally, a word of praise for the home supporters. There aren’t many teams whose fans would continue to sing when they find themselves four down after a quarter of an hour, but the Rebels’ fans kept up their support until the final whistle. They deserve a change of fortune soon. "

Hmmmmmmm we heard about your prior engagement Martin, hope it all went well!.

I agree with all you say, the players we have now give 100%, as does Wilko and I admire him for taking on the manager's post knowing the situation, and as long as these guys are willing to do that, so are Aidan and I willing to support them win or lose.

martin think you could add steve dell to m,alexis in the left with pride group.and they were the only ones to better themselves and go higher.

think we still have a slim chance of staying up.

if anyone can do it,wilko can.

I wanted to go to the game on Tuesday, but unfortunately could not get there. I do hope to make another game very soon. I also wish to continue supporting the club, as you say its better to support the lads giving their all than those who came for the money (despite what some of them said - if they had the loyalty they said they did we wouldnt be in this mess) and leaving us in the hole we are currently in. I want to help the club to survive and be a part of whatever happens at the end of the season, be it the club becoming fans-run, or just continuing in the level below.

up the rebels!!
