You should take a look at the southern league forum, I will give you the link if you dont have it. All it takes is just one post from me, and the wealdstone fans are up in arms and throwing abuse my way. Oracle who posts on here gets it as well.

 

All I said is that Barnet are more then likely going to move into the stadium that they are putting up a proposed £8 million, so that wealdstone can play their first team, and Barnet can field their reserve and ladies team, and have a school of excellence. Of course Barnet would not want to move into a spanking new stadium with a capacity of 5000, when they have been looking for a new home for years, and wealdstone can only get 200 for league games...that makes sense ...NOT!!!

 

There is supposed to be provision for a smaller stadium adjacsent to the larger stadium with a capacity of 2000, and this has been earmarked as a new home for Edgware should we lose the WLG.

 

Rumors on the SL form suggest that Edgware are in thier words 'cosying' up to wstone to let them groundshare with us next season. They spent NINE years at the WLG, before moving to Northwood last season, where by all accounts they hate.

 

They even spread rumors on the fourm of a merger between wstone and ourselves, whislt saying that a club like Edgware would bring nothing to the merger, and that the standard of the SSML is nothing more then 'park football' and that step 6 and below is a glorfied 'pub standard'!!!! Meanwhile they are going to be relegated to step 4, and they have done nothing for years, not since they won the Non League double in 85, I think, that is why they have such large chips on their shoulders, as they still belive they are a HUGE club!!

 

I make no secret of my dislike for wealdstone fc, and specially their supporters who never used our clubhouse / bar whilst they spent their NINE years at our ground, instead going to a local pub. They even set upon a previous manager at Edgware after a league match between them and us back in 1997!

 

They say they may contact Harrow Observer because they are not happy with me writing match reports for Edgware and it being sometiems printed in the paper!, and they have used threats that they will come and in their words 'sort me out'.

 

They call me a racist, when I have said nothing racist, on this or that board, and DONT condone racisim at any level.

 

Bottom line, its all BANTER! and they need to get a life.

 

The thing that sums them all up, is that bar one or two, they all use an annon name rather then make a screename!
