Jim Ward tries to sign Holden

Thats sort of good news i guess.

Am i right that SH is contracted to the Gate still-but is he part of the reserve squad and in favour to get games.

Rumours were rife a couple of months ago that he was disgruntled-is that the case and MFC have retained his registration, or is it all nonsense and he is very much part of the squad.

He seemed to have potential as our 'third/reserve' striker;so hope he is very much of the MFC plans

Apart from which, if Ward did ring him up direct -without refering officially to MFC(which he probably did anyway)would that not be an 'illegal approach'.

Maybe DJW or someone else can enlighten us a bit more ?

Ah, my great Gate mates, I have the inclination to put the word "but" after the phrase "Jim Ward tries to sign Holden" and then we can all add our own reasons!

For example, Jim Ward tries to sign Holden but....Holden wouldn't stand still long enough for Wardy to put his autograph on him!

Abdullah the butter!
