Look at those odds now :)

Not a great surprise Gavin, the number of teams left in the competition have virtually halved and so have your odds to win it. If you get through tomorrow, and good luck to Edgeware (spelling used yesterday by the Mail on Sunday so it must be right!) I reckon you will be around 10/1.

Did the mail on Sunday spell it wrong in the results section? I doubt they had any match reports on the Vase games?

Did anyone get the NLP yesterday? I never went out, so did not get any papers, if anyone got a copy let me know if there was a match report

There was a small write up:

Edgware & Whitehawk will have to do it all over again at the White Lion ground on tuesday. Whitehawk, bidding to reach the fifth round for only the second time had the better of the first half, but the game was played mainly in midfield. The Hawks were rewarded for their enterprise after an hour when an overhead kick from Ryan McBride broke the deadlock. Edgware stepped up their game and got a big break when Whitehawk striker Warren Bass picked up his second caution in the 78th minute and was dismissed. There were just minutes of normal time left, when the increasingly desperate 'Wares got their equaliser. Adam Wallace headed home a loose ball in the penalty area, following a corner. In extra time, Edgeware had their best spell, but they could not find a second goal and will probably be the happier team.

If you like me to post it to you, PM your address.

Gavin - Well it's a shame you didn't grab the 66/1 that was available before you beat Halstead Town or it may have even been afterwards, I thought that was a little bit too generous however 14/1 is far too short, I still make you a 25/1 shot or even 33/1.

True, 66/1 would have been sweet, but I did not see any bookies that offered it, though you did mention your friend the bookie, who I have £10 with to win the league at the start of the season, what were those odds again?

Maybe you could ask your friend if he has odds for a league and cup double, as the price would be better then just going for the Vase bet, let me know ok.

Do you fancy coming to the game tonight? let me know
