I think we should mix it up a bit here and show our strength in depth.

 

Accoding to the BBC both Varney and Ledgister could make debutes which probably means both are injured but if they are right this is what I think Daish will do.

 

Cronin

Ricketts - Ross Smith - Paul McCarthy

Ledgister - De Bolla - Quinn - Long - Sacha.

MacDonald and Sodje

 

Bench

 

Mott

Hawkins

Keeling

Coleman

Moore

 

Nothing against Slatter as I think he is a great player and could well be in the running for player of the season but I think Daish will be looking to chage things around a lot so as he can get an idea of his favourite squad for the run in until the ned of the season. I think he'll bring Keeling on if it isn't happening for us after the hour mark.

 

Crawley is a god awful place with a few idiots as fans, not all of them, plus it's going to be cold, it's going to be wet and it's probably going to snow but I really can't wait.

And you'll be assured that the terrace you're on at Broadfield isn't in danger of collapse.

BUT

I'm not sure Gravesend is going to win any prizes for beauty so I think its a case of 15 all and new balls Harry!

MK is in the news as it is the 40th anniversary of it being founded. Not sure that this is progress though. I would rather it reverted to the village and countryside it previously was. Nevertheless, I have always thought that their concrete cows are pretty iconic.

On the other hand, tinkering with a winning defence could be considered a bit risky. That said, it'll be fascinating to see if Ricketts starts, and if so, where.
