Let's hope for a dry and fairly mild spell for the grass to recover and the pitch to revert to our favoured playing surface.

Whether the pitch is turned or not, we HAVE to get this problem resolved for next season.

Went to watch Herne Bay on Saturday, and their pitch was very playable. Spent the entire afternoon in glorious sunshine thinking that we should have been playing.

On that subject, although it was an entertaining game, the difference in quality made me totally thankful for our boys, and the football they are treating us to week in week out. (Excluding the missed games of course).

Not sure what the cost is to put it right, but originally when it was laid to get us back at Hartsdown it wasn't cost restrictive
