Edgware drawn at HOME to Quorn

Recommended Posts

Not a bad draw at all, home to Quorn if we can win tomorrow night. Quorn are 11th in the Midland All league, and KO FC United in round 3, but FC had two players sent off in that match. A home time against anyone is good, and though of course its the cup, their league form is nothing to shout about with 10 wins and 8 defeats. They wont fancy coming to Edgware where our home form is excellent.

We HAVE to win tomorrow nights match first, but its a great incentive and an even better one to make the QF smile

Yes, and even though they KO'd FC United, United had two players sent off in that game. We cant ask any more then to be drawn at home, and Quorn are not one of the more fancied sides in the draw.

Leamington are at home, so they should remain favs and get through, althoguh it will be intresting to see how Turo do as they have been drawn away. I have not had time to study the draw yet. What do others think about the draw?

I think you have done the hard part by drawing away on Saturday, and that looks like a good home draw against, without being disrespectful, possibly one of the weaker teams left in the competition.

BUT don't count your chickens and think the job's done as I'm sure both of them are going to be "up for the game" as they say.

Good luck and keep the flag flying for the SSML & Middlesex

Thanks for that smile our home form has been excellent this season so really we should not fear anyone if we are at home. Let's hope we can fly the flag for a while longer, if Hillingdon could get to the final last season there is no real reason why we cant do the same for us and the SSML, it would certainly raise the profile of the league if two clubs made it in back to back finals from the league.

So far we have played 6 games in the Vase, 4 home and 2 away. We have met .

Hertford Town SSML PREM 3-0 1st Q

Long Buckby UCL PREM 3-0 2nd Q

Brentwood Town ESL 3-1 1st round

Saffron Walden Town ECL 1, 3-0 2nd round

Halstead Town ECL PREM 1-0 3rd round

Whitehawk SCL PREM 1-1 4th round

With tomorrows replay, and IF we were to make it to the final with no other replays we would have played 12 games in total, thats like over a quarter of a season !!!

Yes I noticed that, Truro are only favourties because they have CASH, their is no other reason to really have them as favourties. after all they are still a step 6 side!

Whitehawk could turn them over at home, it will be a long trip for them, then again every trip is a long trip for Truro, It will be interesting to see how many fans they take to the south coast, no doubt the 'brighton' boys will be out in force to greet them, it could get nasty!!!

What was their crowd on Saturday?
