Just got back from the ground. The game will be on. Horace is trying to get someone to harrow & roll it, then he will mark it.

 

One of the deals for putting the game on tonight was a PSF against them in the summer. They have sent me a squad list for the programme, so we'll have to wait and see who plays.

Not bad thats a few first teamers, so was Paul Fairclough once at Hertford as HTFCONE said he was an ex Hertford.

 

I did not know Horace did the pitch as well, is the groundsman or does he just mark the pitch out? a man of all trades:)

Just back from 4 hours working on pitch! (and me with a dicky ticker!) Been ploughing it up, Rhodes style to even things out a bit!

 

Seriously, although it's still very wet down the "river" side, it's now flat, as it's been well harrowed. Game definitely ON - get yourselves down there to see 109 goal Hertford take on some REAL opposition!
