Our Secretary and myself were talking in the Boardroom to someone from Hornchurch - I think it was their Chairman, but not sure. It was a Committtee man at least.

We told him that we do not get any income apart from sponsors and from the gate and he was surprised - especially when we said that we get nothing from the bar.

We told him that this is why we charge for car parking and he seemed to understand our reasons for doing this.

Perhaps he should pass this on to the supporters, although they would probably not understand the financial problems of running a club.

Mr. Gump, please excuse me if I have misunderstood, but reading through the posts by some of our fans who attended the game I get the impression that their "beef" is more that these additional charges were descriminatory in that they only applied to visiting supporters.

surely you're better off owning a bar than a car park. or do you not own that either? if so, how can you charge?

 

there is revenue to be generated from home fans as well as away fans. i may not understand the intricacies of financing a football club, but i can tell my @rse from my elbow. although i cannot distinguish between your mouth and your anus.
