Jamie Dormer

I took 198 photo's of the game on Saturday and I am amazed how many Jamie Dormer features in them. I know we have all praised either Chris Whelpdale or Joe Flack but I think we've over looked Jamie "Captain Fantastic" Dormer's contribution. On reflection, he was quite pivotal in delivering the ball for the first goal.

Ryan, I will have to deliver a couple of data disc's with the photo's for the programme. There are far too many to e mail. One will be edited, the other will be raw. I'll drop 'em in tomorrow evening.

Fair point Gaz. Dormer, (and the others) are going about their job quietly, and our ordinary team are quietly moving along without anyone taking any notice of us. The nice thing is there is absolutely no pressure on us what-so-ever, so the lads can keep nibbling away without expectation placed on them.

Ya know what Keith, looking on the other Ryman forums Bromley, Margate and Chelmsford have indeed ignored us is their listings for promotion.

 

We did this two seasons ago...nibbled away quietly, with no fuss and ended up 2nd. Lets hope for a better result this season.

I think you'll find, Gazza, that many of the Clarets who utilize the sloppybox (sic), have NOT discounted the possibility of Ricay featuring in the "mix". I for one, certainly haven't.

Ignored NO I have you to finish 5th in my prediction league. Now all you have to do then is win the Play offs (as long as we are not in them of course).

Getting back to the original point, a lot of people feel that our form really kicked in when we started playing the three of Dorms, Leon and Gameo in midfield. Those three provide a good engine room for the team, and I know that Matt feels our fitness is as good as any in the league and better than most.The balanc is good as well, with crosses coming in from both flanks and plenty of energy in the middle. Defensively it's important for us that all of the midfield quartet contribute, and all 4 can also get forward in attack.
