uhh that was it, but players from the senior league were in it, gianni played i think, at tilbury, and yes it was compaq in charge.

Blanchflower and hookey just to confirm it was a esl side that represented the county fa at tilbury that night we lost 2-1 with gianni frankis scoring to make it 1-1,the army got the winner 5 minutes from time.

there was supposed to be a esl game vs the army last season at Aldershots ground as a few of us at Burnham were asked to play , but they called it off as a lot of esl managers didnt want to release their players mid season for a friendly .

 

Surely we can have another esl v hornchurch game this year ??

Good point OB and we made a lot of friends in the ESL, yourself included, but the arrangement was for us to play the Champs every year, don't see why that shouldn't apply this season but it's early doors yet so watch this space.
