It is good to be top! But it is even more remarkable if we can stay top week in week out! Yet I know we can do it!

Have been waiting for the report on the pitch before posting on here & though its still very much in doubt chances have improved very slightly, I repeat very slightly.

Come on you players. Keep up the momentum this week.Time to up the gears & really kill off a team. Leyton come first so let it to their cost. We worked & played great down their place but Saturday is another game & we all start from scratch again.

We have to get the three points on Saturday(vital) so go out there & do your very best. Continue with the hard graft that you have been giving(ALL of you) in the difficult conditions,keep it tight at the back & be positive & take the game to them.

No game is going to be easy especially with these conditions but you have proved you can handle them.You are one of the major contenders for the crown now go out & show people just why that is!

Village footy pitch was mud city yesterday, could not walk on it without boots sticking in, but has dried and drained today and was normal to walk on, even in the goalmouth, which gives me some hope. The border collie saved my pen though.

If the game is on, we shall win. I know the lads will do the business.
