Groundshare officially over

Recommended Posts

So you were at Chalk Lane tonight (last night) then which seems to be a favourite haunt of yours, you were very much conspicuous by your absence at Goldsdown Road on Wednesday by the way knowing full well that there would have been a lynching party waiting to greet you. Your comments are interesting and very useful as you confirm that the Referee on 30 December made a huge mistake in continuing with the proceedings by listening to the players rather than inspecting the pitch properly and calling a halt as should have been the case, the decision also sadly cost us our groundshare agreement. I will now seriously consider approaching the SSML hierarchy on the back of this to suggest that the result (2-0 to Cockfosters) is declared nul and void and replayed before the end of the season Edgware Town v Harefield United style, thanks a lot.

What groundshare agreement. As I've said more than once - the official club line that I was asked to put on our messageboard was that HFC will help out KTFC as and when possible. There would have been no groundshare agreement as there were no guarantees the ground would even be there until the end of the season.

Although it seems likely we'll see the season out now at Claremont Road, we were anticipating on having to move at some point during the season.

Well we can discuss it at length this evening if you show up over the nice pint of Fosters you're going to buy me, I look forward to it.

I thought it was very clear that I went to VCD Athletic on Wednesday evening? As the good folks at Hertford will confirm, your fictitious lynch mobs don't affect my choice of matches.

Have you not got anything important to do, then? The game was played and a result was gained. Neither side complained to the referee on the day (just the opposite, in fact) and no protest has been made to the League immediately after the match (or the following month). What would be the basis for your stupid claim, Rhodes?
