In addition having 'the messiah', namely Clement Temile in the home dugout at Claremont Road has added to the publicity Hendon have received on the back of the groundshare particularly Worldwide, I believe that you have been all over the papers like a rash in Israel, Russia and Nigeria although I haven't actually seen the articles as yet.

SteveR, Rhodes claimed that Kentish Town were all over the Islington Gazette "like a rash" this week. According to NeutralFan, who lives in the catchment area "all over it like a rash" in RhodesWorld equated to a quarter of one page on Planet Earth. You can treat Rhodes latest claims with equal disdain as it is just his usual bullshit.

What do the SSML committee think of the Kentish Town situation?

I wouldn't have thought that not knowing where you are playing your home games from one week to the next will impress them much Rhodes.

Not being funny but teams like Crawley Green and AFC Dunstable deserve to be in Division One but are held back by lack of floodlights, where as Kentish Town haven't there own ground and, for what ever reason, have lost Haringey and PBTFC as home venues and seem to be having problems with playing at Hendon.

Even if it isn't Kentish Town's fault, surely the SSML heirachy will be concerned about the going on's there?

I think it would be a one horse race, seeing as Haringey actually have a pitch to call home, maybe you could string up some rope around a pitch at Wansted flats rhodes, that will do wont it?

AWK - No not at all, they are very sympathetic and are bending over backwards to help us, the current problem is on the back of the Cockfosters game on 30 December going ahead, when it clearly shouldn't have, damaging the hallowed Claremont Road turf which Hendon weren't impressed by, as you say it's not our fault.

Rhodes i am sure that if they are bending over backwards for a team with no home, then Haringey's current lack of Home games will be the last of their worries, i would like to thank everyone at KTFC for having no home ground and taking the limelight off the Haringey situation you really do, do alot for the Community.

PBT - yes, I'm rapidly realising that RhodesWorld is a vastly exaggerated version of Earth!

Not a great deal I suppose. Won the Isthmian League twice, won the FA Amateur Cup twice, reached the FA Cup Third Round once, reached the FA Cup First Round twenty times....

..
For someone to ask 'who are Hendon' they obviously have no knowledge of non league football whatsoever.

Hendon are/were one of the most famous names in the Amatuer game

I was only kidding and plucked the figure out of the air. Though I do remember wstone saying they paid a fair whack to play at the WLG, and them not being happy. Now they are at Northwood and even unhappier hehe

Re Ground Sharing - Lets read the General section of Appendix A of the SSML handbook where it states:

No club will be granted permission to ground share...............in order to secure the grading required for admission to the League, or for promotion.

Sorry KTFC, whether you finish in a top two place in Div One or not, that 'rule' with your current rather dodgy arrangements would appear to put paid to any possibilty of your promotion to the Premier Division.

Potters Bar Town - Well I am fully aware of this SSML ruling and I don't hold it against Old Lag for pointing it out as it doesn't appear to be malicious unlike if, for example, you had posted it. As I've said top secret negotiations are still ongoing as to where we'll be playing next season and you'll all be the first to hear the news in due course, don't rule out Ashburton Grove either as that is still very much one of the many options open to us.

Completely ignoring the Ashburton Grove comment, I for one hope Kentish Town do get promoted (this is not a joke).

It is likely they will be our 'derby' match next season, with Edgware probably going up and Wembley in the CCL.

More teams within 1/2 hour of my house, I say!

KTFCSC - Thanks for that constructive post, it's also nice to see you posting properly rather than purely getting involved in the prediction league, keep it up.

Now this is interesting news, everyone. Because, according to those gentle folk at Cockfosters that I was speaking with this evening, the goings on at Claremont Road on 30 December were allegedly Kentish Town's fault. Apparently, when the deluge had subsided for which play had been stopped, it was the captain of Kentish Town who urged the rest of his team to get back on the pitch telling them "there's a game to be won here, lads". Therefore, when the referee emerged from his dressing room, everyone was on the pitch waiting for the game to restart so he just got on with it. Admittedly, the referee didn't bother to inspect the pitch properly before the restart which he clearly should have done, but there was clear influence from the players to get on with the game so he just obliged them.

No doubt Rhodes will completely deny this version of events and, obviously, I wasn't there to say either way. So I'll leave it to you good readers to decide whether you believe the Kentish Town Secretary or three longstanding members of the Cockfosters committee.
