Clydefan - as others have said you will be most welcome at New Lodge and I look forward to meeting you maybe, but PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE don't call us Londoners !! Although there are plenty of folk in and around Ricay with connections to the filthy smoke, most of your true blue Ricay fans are Essex through and through and like to disassociate ourselves from the chaps who support teams from the Capital. The town is around 40 miles from London but does have easy access to and from there both by road and rail, so you have made a wise choice of game to attend my friend !

Neil - oops, sorry, excuse my ignorance. I assumed that since it was so close to central London that Billericay was on the outskirts of London. Sadly I know next to nothing about Essex, other than what I hear about Essex girls. But at the risk of offending any further, it may be best not to go down that route!

 

Two weeks and counting to the game - I just hope the weather down there is better than it is up here otherwise I'll have no game to see.
