How far out do you think these figures could be. Do you think they are underestimating or overestimating our final totals? Or even about "spot on" maybe? (as of today)

I think these predictions could be quite accurate, however we do still have some very difficult games this year, although i am still very confident of league success THIS SEASON.

Nice to see Gate top of the predicted table - actually just the present table extended to the end of the season.

 

Mind you, the table shown is impossible. It has got 7 more games lost than won, an odd number of draws (so one must have been between 3 teams), and 18 more goals conceded than scored. Not to mention Ramsgate in the top half!

 

By the way I didn't sit there and count them (!), just pasted into a spreadsheet. So fairly sad, not completely sad.

Its not quite the same as the present table as regards positions in the table Chris.However if what you say is correct & I bow to your word on this as I am not going to check it out,why don't you e.mail the below link & inform them of their error.

a lot depends on the weather if we get 2 or 3 games behind the others it will be difficult playing catch up

It's not an error, it's just the way it is done. Each team's stats are divided by games played so far and multiplied by 42.

 

So it corrects for games in hand and extends that to the end of the season.

 

Some are rounded up or down to make whole numbers, which is why the totals don't add up.

Well without actually knowing what the future results are going to be & if he wishes to make a prediction chart then somehow someway he has to come to a decision. Its all pie in the sky isn't it & just guess work anyway with a bit of forethought thrown in (maybe not according to your assessment)....But if its as simple as you say then it means nothing.Any prediction chart means nothing anyway until the "little man from Margate who travels on trains in the mornings & moans about the travel company & its service all the time,sings!",(sorry,had to get that in, l.o.l) or until the actual games have been played. However, just looking at the predicted table makes me smile anyway no matter how its come about.
