Forum crash suggestion

In the light of recent forum crashes & possible future ones may I suggest we "switch" & chat on the other newly set up forum started by Jake if the same occurs & if its out of service(link below).We all love it on this forum & with no disrespect to Jake I would prefer to remain on this one(habit)in the future as my main forum but if the worst occurs again I thought a transfer over to the other forum would keep some of us happy on a temporary basis.I'm sure Jake wouldn't mind & it could enhance his forum too.Even if the worst on here DOSENT happen might I suggest also that looking in to Jakes NEW forum would be worthwhile too in the future.Am sure in time Jakes new forum will become more popular.Hope you don't mind the suggestion Jake!

Might I suggest also that the link is made as peoples "favourites" then if this forum does crash at any time they wont have missed the link.

No I don't Alan. How safe is any site? I'm assuming he is one of ours though. Maybe he is abdullah on our forum!! l.o.l.

Wonder if he does come onto our forum as another. Maybe he could enlighten us on that then maybe we will know more about him.

B@stard, still having trouble logging on.

 

Asked them at work to take my computer away and return my sloping desk, quill pen and Tiny Tim sitting in the corner just like the good old days of office work.

Only half a day off on Christmas day and no dealings with any Johnny Foreigners unless they were from the British Empire.

Absolutely Ian.No jumping ship!I was merely giving us an option should we lose you again.Glad to hear all is well.Indeed no harm in visiting the other forum occasionally also seeing as though its been set up but I think most if not all will be using this forum for most of the time. Great credit to Jake for the other one & who knows in time it might become more popular.
Not having you on the odd occasion last week left me wondering what to do with my time & I'm sure that applied to others too(I cant be the only sad one on here l.o.l.)This other new forum would have been a way of keeping the chat going thats all whilst you were sorting it out. Great credit to you too for all your continued commitment to it.

Rest assured Ian, that whilst ican only speak for myself; we love this forum to bits;and appreciate the efforts to get us back up and running when you have the odd blip.

 

Its just that us Gate fans 'can't get enough''and we have these urges to talk-especially as we have hit better times this season.

 

As an exile,its even more useful to have constant forum access and get to know what happening.

 

Imagine the angst if the forum were to go down on a saturday at 3pm just before a vital game.

 

It seems to me a simple contingency plan, and we recognise the efforts and appreciate that you are here for the long term

i think its a good idea to have a backup forum, however i cant see the point of register only but there you go.

to answer how good the forums at invision.com are i can safely say they fairly reliable.
