Dead right Tone but it dosen't hurt to have a bonus occasionally.Sadly not tonight, though AFC drawing 1-1 at Worthing is a minor bonus & Billericays game(in the lead 1-0) being called of because of floodlight failure(would you believe it, what with efforts against the weather etc)could be another small bonus. Even the Angels losing keeps them in check.Maybe more bonuses than I first thought then after all. Not the ONE we wanted but good 2nd prizes.
Still as you say if we win OUR games then we win the league. Quite true!

Cookie makes good sense in his post tonight.

The results were'nt too bad for us.

 

It may just be that margate, Chelmsford bromley,Hampton and probably Billericay are pulling away.

 

Once you go 10 points behind with only 18 or so games left,its a bit of a gap to make up .

Wimbledon,Ramsgate, Tonbridge,B. Wood,Horsham and Heybridge are all close to that 10 point gap now-another win for us and a loss for any of them on saturday, and we have a 10 point cushion.

 

Obviously we waNT TO WIN THE LEAGUE, BUT PLAY-OFFS WOULD START TO LOOK IN SITE ONCE THERE IS A 10 POINT GAP between us and those in 6th place; and we are getting close to that now.

 

Keep on grinding the results out guys

Very true Steve.An early postponement looks very much on the cards I reckon.Time & weather between now & Saturday will tell I suppose. Certainly the pitch wont take much more hammering from above I wouldn't have thought.
