All I'm trying to say, I think, is about being loyal. People who are swayed by free/cheap coach rides to go see a struggling Premiership club are probably not the kind of supporters we want anyway! I've followed the Blues since 79 and I know just how fickle our support is even though the die-hards will always remain and hats off to them (I know some of you are on here!!)
Even my support has come and gone over the years - partly due to my job and locality - but I always watch/listen when I can!

AB, anyone having a go at me has either mis-read my post or read some clap-trap I posted before then deleting it! Am not easily offended either way - cripes, I'm in the RAF for goodness sake - we get enough flak (sic!) as it is!!!

Pilot to navigator - all is well then - AB

If the club is to reach its potential.Which as the biggest town in East Kent,i would say is massive...People are going to have to be a bit less picky about who they do or dont want as fellow supporters.
I think Charlton are hoping to benefit from the fact that Kent is a massive area with a Population of one and a half million. And just one league club, Gillingham.
But Kent is full of Football fans. And its hardly suprising given that Thanet has such a large population and just 2 clubs playing at a lower level that they should target the area.

I am a loyal supporter, margate through and through. Go to all the games i can, work permitting. I also go to watch the odd premiership match when i can. I dont see anything wrong with this and it doesnt mean i'm any less loyal to Margate. Dont be too picky, you'll end up alienating people.
