Saturday's reserve game.2-0 loss at herne bay

I read that the reserves lost 2-0 at herne bay reserves on saturday.

 

A bit disappointing given both our good start, and what at least in theory should be a strong reserve team, given the number of players with some sort of first team experience.

 

Not sure what the team was or whether'reserve player' is still logging on to give his considered views !!

I watched the game and yes there was a few first teamers playing. Dan Wisker, Ian Pullman. Nick Baggley but only fringe players. Herne bay had around 5-7 first teamers and were helped in the first 15 minutes when the Margate keeper pulled down there center forward and was shown the red card. They scored the penalty and in fairness Margate worked bloody hard throughtout the rest of the game to keep the score down. Baggley came of injured in the first half and Kiron morris was bought on in midfield and along with Wisker and Hickman played well. So concidering the circumstances not a bad run out for the Lads. Fringe players got 90 min workout so job done.
