We have a stock of old TAFC programmes and have just got a whole load of club merchandise such as badges, scarves, t-shirts, golf towels etc

Gavin, if you want details of our supplier let me know & I can bring details with me on Tuesday.

Gavin,

You mean to say a club in your position has no merchandise OR club shop???

What about team colours?? No shirts etc??

That will be one of the FIRST things you need for the Ryman.

We have a great club shop can buy LOADS of gear (none of it dodgy either).

We even have baby footie kits (so sweet even though I hate brats).

Oh yes and dont forget to get your supporters transport sorted. You will need at least a couple of coaches to bring ALL your away supporters!!

Lub ya really Gav bisou

..............

Hello Paula, the only 'merchandise' the club have is a couple of golf umbrellas, and a couple of clocks! and some coasters, that the previous board ordered a few seasons ago. We were in the Ryman for the past few seasons, but I know what you mean, as if we go up it will be at a higher level then when we were in the Ryman Isthmian league before.

I am trying to get some stuff in, just starting off small at first, with some scarves and badges, then see how we go.

The club shirt is avalible to order, home & away, for £28, with name and number.

As for a coach for away fans, I doubt very much we will have one of those. Most people make their own way to away games, and I travel on the team mini bus smile

This Saturday we are going to have a proper coach take both the players and supporters down to the south coat for our game with Whitehawk, we had a coach to Halstead in north east essex in the last round and that was good.

£28 for a shirt!!!!!! Thats a rip off!! Ours are £22!!! (much better colour scheme than yours too)

As for a coach well thats where the day starts. Ask any of our lads!! No beer alloud until the one way system on the Island (about a mile from the ground). Its then drink as much as you can before you get to the ground!! Its a bit harder for them now as all the fixtures are 'local' (within an hour and a halfs drive).

Last season was the best - I went on the coach to ALL the away games and was drunk before every match!!

Seriously, good luck with it all and we'll stuff you (would rather it was Hertford, hi Horace cuddle) for 6 points next season!!

wink

Paula, £28 is NOT a rip off, when you consider the that shirt is long sleeve and it comes ready with any name and number you want (league clubs charge that just for the printing, never mind the shirt!) As for yours being a better colour? are you sure? yellow and blue, NO one looks good in yellow football shirts! and of course yours come with Canvey Island, whereas ours says Edgware Town, worth the money alone wink

I expect Canvey to make the playoffs and would not be supprised if you win promotion to the Ryman Prem. You should be one of the main teams next season if you dont go up.

Personally I'd rather us stay where we are next season to get some more money in the coffers - remember we started with a big fat £0 for a bank balance this season (no debts either).
We are now up there with the best but not quite Premier material (my personal opinion). Reckon it will be Hornchurch and possibly Harlow or Enfield Town who will be going up.

3praise - Can I ask you a serious question, do you own a Haringey Borough shirt, I expect you were given one for free by the Chairman for your loyalty and support to the Club and for continually defending him on here saying what a wonderfully generous guy he is, putting the likes of Father Christmas and Bill Gates to shame.
