Gazz, changing the subject a tad if I may, someone told me a story on Saturday that Chelmo are not really Chelmo at all but are, in fact, the Brentwood club from about 20-25 years ago.

 

Given that it's reasonably local to you lot I thought you'd know the answer - anything in this?

I think 'Warner Bros' should chuck $100 million dollars at a huge blockbuster, which involves Sean and Gazza beng thrown together to solve a footballing crime.

 

They will hate each other, have huge arguments coupled with explosions and chases and at the end of the film they grow to love each other before a very poor sequel is released in 2009.

 

I for one will be queuing at the Cinema

Gazz, no, you've got me all wrong. Chelmo wouldn't hi-jack any other club. No. They are like a beacon for the rest of us to follow (or, in our case, be above!).

 

Just interested in this Brentwood story that's all.

Well, there was that incident a couple of years back when little ol'Crittalls were approached for a ground share deal by a local Essex club, but we suggested that they should stay where they were!

 

As for other approaches to, shall we say, leading officers of other clubs that, my dear boy, is just hearsay and conjecture.

 

In any case, I like being able too see my football without the use of binoculars!
