....just seen the highlights from the Bromley game, hilarious! Also reports of Chelmo fans pushing over a little Bromley lad and missiles being thrown at the ref. McKinney at fault for both Bromley goals, quality!

Shocking referring dispplay Ryan C and our players could not adapt.

 

Hopefully it was one of those games that will spur the team on and get more wins under our belt to consolidate our position in the top two.

 

I don't know anything of a little boy being pushed over or missiles, I hope it just an exaggeration as there is no time in football for this sort of behaviour!

Fairly amusing video. Its great when you get to see vids at this level, as only a few teams do it.

 

In reference to Bromleys equaliser, he appears to stop the play because Chelmsfords players are moving forward. He shouldnt have blown the whistle, but having done so, he shows common sense to allow the goal. To disallow what was a valid goal from Bromleys point of view, because of the encroachment of Chelmsford players would be unfair. He may not have applied the letter of the law, but he made the common sense judgment in my view, and as common sense seems to be lacking so often in Ryman referees, well done to him.

 

Its a similar situation sometimes with penalties: you sometimes see players take a penalty and score, but the referee (even at the highest level), makes him take it again because the keeper has moved on the goal line. This is completely against common sense: the goalkeeper has attempted to cheat (by moving forward to try and narrow the angle), and failed. Yet the referee rewards him by giving him a second chance to save it.

 

Anyway, the Chelmo fans cant whinge about the refs conspiring against them. How many penalties have they had this year???

What I feel is quite amusing is that sean was on the Slippy Box denouncing 'Ricay supporters for voilent behaviour at our game, then when questioned last week, toned it down to both sets of supporters and then mention's nothing about yesterday...

 

Quality blinkered and hyporitical behaviour from someone who likes to consider himself an official of his club.

 

Be nice if he had the guts to apologise for his hysterical rants in the first place.

 

Like the comment on one of the Bromley forums though...and I quote

 

"I wonder if they counted the amount of gutted Chelmsford supporters on the way home"

There were incidents that day which were witnessed by both sets of supporters and posted on both this website and the CCFC one.

 

Rather than bring this point up again, lets worry about what is goining to be an exciting and interesting early 2007 as teams go out for winning the Ryman.

 

I believe that there is £500 riding on whether City or Ricay finish higher - is that correct?

More to the point, I believe there is £100 riding on whether you turn up one Thursday evening at New Lodge and explain the niceties of our clubs accounts to mtself and our Chairman and where your supporters think they have the right to comment on our clubs behaviour when your own is worse...

'Loco' Fan has posted 236 times on this 'ere messageboard whilst Gazza has done so 149 times on yours. On numerous occasions on the 'Floppybox', you can see 'Loco-mental' Fan discussing the latest issues at New Lodge, often in a slating way.

 

Earlier today a Bromley fan summed up the Chelmo support very rightly, he did not swear or say anything libellous. I think he called you lot arrogant. That posting was deleted. Before slating others, take a look yourself fella.

I'll re state what Ryan said, which you have obviously ignored (no surprise there, arrogant and ignorant), the number of posts you posted on our forum is in your favour compared to the number of mine on yours ...and I've been around longer than you have!!!

As for success...Success is about winning trophy's and promotion, you do not get awards for the biggest (perceived by your own supporters) gates or being top for a couple of weeks. Since leaving New Lodge, what have you won? Actually what have you won when you were at New Lodge?

So, Loco, what have we got to be jealous of? As Ryan said, we've taken 4 points off you this season...we have nothing to be jealous of.

If you look at yours and other from you club, your continual commentary of how BTFC is run and it's personalities and the insults you and others have made about these people, which I have pointed out to you and others is none of your business, continues. Is it any wonder that I for one, respond so? I don't think so? Take a long hard look at your own support and their comments and how these things spark off...And wonder why, Bromley and other clubs consider you and your club's support arrogant (hey, like I'm trying to reason with you...and you're a Chelmsford supporter...).

It'll be water of a ducks back and I'm sure you'll go on about your squad of players, that you are 2nd in the league (having been top)...blah, blah, blah...Really, I type this and think "what is the point". If you're club fails to live up to what you call success...then, we'll see the true meaning of what you lot call support. You've ripped your club apart before, you'll do it again.
