You don't have to tell us that. We were at step 4 last season and had to go through the heartbreak of missing out in the play offs. Here's hoping we suceed this season and meet you guys again in the Ryman Prem next time.

I thought Town were lucky to still have eleven on the pitch.

 

I thought ET were unlucky when they hit the bar.

 

I thought Gary Cross was unlucky to get a booking, considering your bloke threw a punch.

 

I thought Dale brightly made a great save in the second half.

 

I thought ET keeper is a great doubt.

 

I thought Kris Lee was unlucky on a number of occassions.

 

I thought the ref was poor for both sides.

 

But it makes no matter what I think, as we have taken six points from ET. I Thank You.

I thought it was a great game, first half we were excellent and for most of the 2nd. Jim and John were supreme in the defence and I thought Jamie Southon was outstanding, in spite of extreme intimidation from some of the Enfield Town lads.

 

There were 2 definite red card calls out there, from the number 7 who deliberately kicked Jamie and the number 3 who's second half assault could have resulted in a really serious injury to the same player. The ref was weak in not showing the correct cards in both instances.

 

BUT, ETFC were a decent team, if they could stop trying to thug teams off the pitch and I'd be surprised if they're not up there at the end of the season.

 

We, were magnificent.

Didn't seem much momentum in Steve's challenge to me, and a yellow card was about right. Its interesting that the AFCH fans seemed to miss the kick to the player on the ground (Tickner, I think) that started the brawl.

 

A serious question, if I might. How did the home fans rate their side's performance? You clearly deserved to win, but I thought you'd be better than you were. Not a patch on Borehamwood at the same stage of last season, I'd say.

I take it you must be refering to a seperate incident, I was refering to the WWF style forearm smash in the 2nd half, I fully expected him to follow it up with an elbow drop It looked that real!!
