June I don't think people are hating him. Some, like myself are merely talking of a player than can be doing so much better than he is doing. This morning I tried to get him going with plenty of encouragement & I too thought in the match he actually did better than before. He needs to be involved more & because the ball was being played down the right flank a lot more than usual he WAS getting involved. The more he DOES get involved then the more better things we will see out of him. As you say getting down the flanks & taking on the full backs & crossing was much improved today without him looking like a match winner. The weather certainly didn't help but he did have a better game today but he is still some way short of his best.Sometimes players go through bad times. We are just commenting on these times.

If he continues on from today I'm sure he will get back to his best in no time. He most certainly wasn't crap though!

The way we played today, in the conditions we played in, and carrying on from the awful conditions at the Folkestone game, when we also battled and passed and did wonderful things, I cannot but think that we have an exceptional team here, and cannot tolerate the use of cr*p to describe any of them.

I was thinking that, if you stood behind our goal in the first half, Abbo was on the right going forward. To be extra sure you are safe, do not meet me driving when negotiating roundabouts!

I'm sure the criticism of Abbo makes things worse for his confidence. That pitch was difficult to play on, although it was the best we could do given the way things are with the drainage (lack of).

Personally I think we all ought to get off of Abbo,s back,he may not be turning it on at the moment but he is in the side because RT says so and that is good enough for me.I get pissed off with fans shouting abuse at him, remember Rocky a few years ago, people shouting at him to get off, what sort of fans are they, people can have their opions but when it counts,,,on the pitch, give every player your support please.

Every Margate team........and I mean every team since I have watched since the 1960s have ALWAYS had a boo boy. Rightly or wrongly Paul has been singled out this year.

Maybe if those boo fans would like to turn up tomorrow to watch the Margate supporters against Dover supporters game at 1.30pm then you will see players worthy of booing.

Why do you say he's been singled out.Now that IS utter crap! And he's no boo boy either. He just isnt giving us of his best yet & it has been noted & commented on.Thats all!

Greg Oates didn't have a good game today either.Scott should have made that ball his own. Am I singling them out too. No because its consistent underachieving that brings about people saying the above.Paul is much better than he is showing us & sometimes I think its because of the position he is playing in.Maybe it dosen't suit him to be out there.Maybe trying him in a more central role would help bring that best out of him.We all know he's capable on his day.

As I said he DID improve his game today because he began NOT to be afraid of taking that man on instead of giving 5 yd pases back to Oates all the time.A marked improvement I would say today. He just needs to be consistent at it.

people fall out in the heat of the moment its as simple as that and im sure they will sort it out between them.sappleton was very very good today.abott needs to be replaced, if only we had the quality we have on the left on the right as well we would be unstoppable in this division.todays game was a well fought out result in bad conditions ,just what you have to do to win leagues.the pitch is going to be a problem tho caused by trying to save money when laying it.

Pardon? Please speak in English.

All I am saying is at the moment his position needs strengthening.

He is not at the same standard as the rest of the team, at the moment.

Perhaps one day he will catch up.

I am not paid to perform on a football pitch, but I do pay to watch.

So I would prefer it if he was replaced.

OK,mabye my last post was out of order,it was in English,we all know that the left side is the best, and RT knows that to,but until we can get the likes of Skinns and JJ to perform down the right we should be thankfull for what we have got a stop slaging them off, after all we are top of the league.

everybody needs to remember that the boys who have been boo`ed in the past are now looking down on US having the last laugh , the biggest being Jake Lebrel , total insults from the 1st time he kicked a ball for us , now look at him , in the 1st team at Daggers sitting on top of the Conferance, who else AKPO , ROCKY , SIGERE , GREEN , etc , most of them plying there trade in leagues above us , maybe its us that stops them playing because they here the s..t and abuse being thrown at them by us from the stands , i think anyone would feel low with that around them , this could be why there away form is so much better than there home ( because were not all there to see it and they feel more comfortable on the ball knowing they won`t get heckled all the time ). Up the Gate.

I know its hard not to moan and bitch a bit when things aren't going according to our ideas of how they should be going, but all those lads out their are trying their hardest. Passion and the heat of the moment can sometimes cause minor fracas like we had today between Lee and Jay, but it shows they really care about the team and their performance. So lets all try and be a bit more supportive, because despite it all

WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE FOR GOD'S SAKE!

sss i don`t think that MF ment it that way , but could YOU explain why we have such a good away record and our home form is generally average , i don`t go to away games so i can`t really say anything on this topic , i just go from what i here from friends who have been to the away games and i can`t believe that im watching the same team when there at home , Alot of us have said in disscussion before that they never play to a big crowd and our home gates are big comparred to most teams in our league and people on here are saying there is a lot of bitching on the terraces that the players will pick up on. Im not on here personally having a go and saying who`s best and who`s worst but you can here what people say , just open them ears and you might realise that if you can here abuse ABBO or any player will here it , And Yes we are top of the league AB and im proud of that .
