That has to be the worse ref we have ever had

Spoke to Trotty in the bar afterwards and he said Worthing player had a right to go for the ball as not picked up cleanly by Scott, who did recover superbly to gather it again hence the stud marks down his chest! A brave, good goalie oin my books.

As the thread is about the ref, I thought he controlled game well in 1st half but did lose it a lot in that 2nd half but, as some have already said, not the worst by far! At least he didn't add loads of stoppage time on.

Scott's kicking has not really bothered me too much. It's not easy to be consistent with every kick anyway. He's the best keeper in this league. Little at AFCW runs him close but Scott is the best shot stopper. Also, Little is in his prime wheras Scott is nowhere near that.

Thought the ref was poor but not the worst (standard of refs in this league is generally very poor IMO)

I must disagree.

His kicking is usually pretty good but I thought on saturday it was by far worse than the Worthing keeper.

He also held his hands up to the goal scored by Worthing which was very decent of him.

Mistakes happen and hopefully he will learn something from it.

I think he is a very good keeper, but on saturday he wasn't at his best.

Bear in mind it was blowing a howler down at the Coffin End. It affected the Worthing keeper in the first half, and Scotty in the second.

A couple of saves Scotty made in the first half had me gasping with admiration. Normally happens each time I watch him play. Glad we have him, wherever he puts the ball is OK by me.
