Edinburgh is still there but not at all happy. This whole episode has caused alot of unrest amongst the players and there was talk of several contacting former manager Mark Stimson at Stevenage about a possible move there when Hill's appointment was announced.

That chap who used to drive the red tractor probably enjoys the cut and thrust of the wheeling and dealing. I would have have been tempted to tell Stimmo that Martyn Harrison was preparing a seven figure bid ro hakim and that he ought to put his best foot forward asap - not 'as soon as possible', but "asap". I would have told Boro' that we have the best interests of t'lad at heart and that we would prefer to take an undisclosed four figure fee from our friends from Hertfordshire as we believe that they seeem better placed to develop the boy's undoubted football talent. Take the positives and all that football-speak rubbish. Lunch is for wimps etc. etc.

Boylan was on a fair whack at Canvey so doubt Weymouth could afford him.

 

Doubt also he'd want to move to that part of the world.

I see Fisher have ditched another load of overpaid players including ex-Saint-for-a-month Steve Watts. Which club is paying his next signing on fee?

Watts has gone to Bromley, Laz.

 

Boylan wouldn't go to Chelmo as he and Kingy had a bit of a falling out after Boylan handed in a transfer request midway through last season. Still think they don't see eye to eye.

 

Wouldn't be surprised to see Calder at Chelmo. Him and Kingy are quite good mates I believe. He was often down our place when Calder was involved with the Basils then Hx.

 

Saw that about Fisher. The Piper brothers are still there though.

Isn't it teams from around the New Forest area? For example Lymington, Brockenhurst, Portland, Lyme Regis (I made the last one up!!!)
