The players did well, they are now starting to play like a team. Lets hope they can stay as a team.

Wilko was shouting his heart out all game, and fully deserved his "Wilko" chant at the end.

Jackson made some good saves, and as said, the goal came off of one of his parries (more bad luck). Considering the wind out there, he only fumbled one or two high balls, a few other keepers would have fumbled a lot more.

Well done the players, manager, and fans

Come on Rebels.

Sorry for the limited updates fellas, it was a decent game with chances at either end but not too much to report as the game went on.

I must say I find it very sad that Leyton clearly have such strong financial support - they have a decent side and are in the process of building a 500 seater stand and a decent clubhouse whilst having such pitiful support. Their attendance on Tuesday was 15 and yesterday as Chris says well over half of the attendance was made up of Slough supporters. Why does Costas bother?

It was an excellent performance from the Rebels who deserved at least a point. It now seems that we have a decent, hungry young side where the players are all looking to make an impact and prove themselves at this level. When you add to that the experience and leadership of Wilko and Daly and the tireless front running from Matt Miller - it seems to me that we have plenty of hope and plenty to support on the pitch.

Jacko is local though, and used to play for the reserves. Only left Burnham when they bought in Beames who did a runner from SYCOB having failed to get in here. Suprised he went to Hemel.
