When will they learn???

Two young boys were killed at Barking underground station last night.

 

Ceefax (p161) says they were among a group of four lads who were spraying graffiti on a depot wall. When spotted they scattered but two of the boys ran straight in front of a tube train that had entered a siding.

one of the lads was my work mate,20 years old dan elgar son of keith elgar,delivery union rep at southend depot.i have spoken to Dan,last night at 6.30 when he finished his late shift at the front office. we are all with his young girlfriend and his one years old baby..

They were hardly boys, youngest being 19.

Agreed it's very sad for they're family and friends, but at that age they should know better.

I feel sorry for the driver personally.

This sort of thing can seriously affect them, sometimes even leads to them never getting in the cab again.

Tragic! I referred to them as boys as that was what was said on Ceefax.

 

My lad is 19 so I can only imagine the heartache!!!

Dan Elgar was a nice lad and everyone at work liked him.he wasn't a bad lad at all.sometimes you mix up with the wrong group but never got himself in trouble as far as i know.with the job we do,you might get the sack.i feel sorry for his mum and dad who are hard workers and smashing people.his little baby won't even remember him,it's so sad.the police came to the depot this morning and took his dad away,there was a sombre mood at work.why don't allow these youngsters to spray graffitis on special build places?after all they were not killing or robbing anyone

Done well and in the right place, graffiti is art!!

I feel so sorry for his folks.
