Leyton v Slough

I will be going by train, and have worked out that the easiest way is to do the following

Go to Liverpool St station and get a train to St James St. This takes 13 minutes, and the trains leave at 00, 15, 30, 45 past the hour.

Walk down Markhouse Rd (A1006) and turn left on Lea Bridge Rd. The grtound is on the left. This is about a mile walk.

There are lot's of other options, but that is the one I have decided to do.

Go to multi map and enter in the post Code of the ground (from the Ryman site), you can get all of the info from that. i suggest you print out a copy of the map, just in case.

See yo at the match, if you don't get lost

Paul, I would be very surprised if you and Martin go by train for two reasons.

1. Martin is going on the coach

2. I'm pretty certain you won't want to come, but obviously you'd be very wlecome to.

Good to see 100% effort from the whole team.

Leyton's pitch was in a worse state than Hendon's, but there was no problem with the match going ahead. The LHS touchline opposite the entrance was mud from the touchline to the fence, but it caused no problems. The pitch played well apart from one incident where a Leyton player, with no Slough player within 6 foot, fell over in the mud. Result a free kick to Leyton. Hilarious.
