What is everyone's views on this?

 

I think this pretty much kills his England career off, but I think he knew that anyway...

 

I think this is a fantastic move for him... another chance for him to build the "David Beckham" profile up even more...

 

Real Madrid are in disoray... best time to move imo...

 

Some boring facts for you...

 

He signed a £128million deal over 5 years...

 

With this new deal, he will be earning;

25.6 million a year...

2.14 million a month...

£490,958 a week...

£70,000 a day...

£2,917 an hour...

£48 a minute...

80p a second...

 

would you turn that down?

It is sad that he earns more in a minute than carers get in a week working 24/7.

Consider what he could have got if:

1. He could head a ball.

2. He had pace.

3. If he could kick with both feet.

4. If he could tackle.

5. If he could beat a defender on the run.

6. If he had two grey cells of a football brain and could play CMF.

7.If his fame included being part of a team,club or international that had won a trophy (or even got close) in the past four years.

I like the one - only englishman to score in 3 successive world cup finals . And when we get knocked out people always blame him . it does make me laugh . He has carried our national team for the last 7/8 years .
