We ended up watching someone else - either Nuneaton or Tamworth I think!

I was at that match, the referee came out, put the ball on the centre circle and watched it roll across the pitch, and decided that was it.

We all legged it off to watch Maidstone play.

Wasn't there a groundsman wrapping windbreakers round the pitch? No? Bloody cheats.

it dont want to be, AFC just released there squad details for tomorrow:

Trophy squad announced

Dave Anderson has announced the following squad for the Gravesend and Northfleet game tomorrow:

Andy Little; Paul Smith; Simon Sweeney; Paul Lorraine; Wayne Finnie; Antony Howard; Lee Kersey; Wes Daly; Chris Gell; Lewis Cook; Luke Garrard; Mark Rooney; Jermaine Darlington; Roscoe Dsane; Darren Grieves; Stephen Goddard; Paul Barnes.

"Steve Watson is suspended but Wes Daly is available again after serving his ban. Paul Barnes is back in the squad after playing an hour for the reserves yesterday with no reaction. He scored 2 goals and looked very sharp, that’s down to the hard work he and Mike Rayner have put in over the last month. Scott Fitzgerald’s loan has finished, we can’t extend it any further but we’re still working on a deal to bring him to the club till the end of the season. Jermaine Darlington, Mark Rooney and Darren Grieves will all face fitness tests.

Looking back on Tuesday we lost the game in the first 15 minutes. You can’t give a team like that a 2 goal start and expect to get anything out of the game but we battled well after the opening quarter of an hour and nearly got a point out of it. I was pleased with the spirit we showed. The players were very disappointed but they can’t wait till the return game next weekend.

Tomorrow is a huge test, to go to the club sitting fourth in the Conference and get a result is a big ask of the players – but we can do it.

I know the fans can re create the atmosphere we had at Aldershot and the players can play as well as they did the second half.

The players, the staff and myself are really looking forward to it”
