Well he got it right tonight the young bigmouth but he hasn't won the marathon yet.Still a long way to go.Well done to him & his team after tonights result. It IS only lent & we WILL force our way back up there soon. No smiles from me after tonight but most definately NO TEARS either.We just have to concentrate on OUR OWN form. If we do then others results wont matter.

Actually Chris to be precise a 1-0 victory would have us joint top with Chelmsford but then Chelmsford would be shown on top purely because of alphabetical order. However without me splitting anymore hairs you are indeed correct that any winning score will put us top or joint top at worst.

Yes I C U R correct. Still, that original comment has given me a nice little anti-Chelmo feeling which I never had before, what with us humiliating them 3-0 and everything.

Sorry Michael, it WAS old fatguts. I believe it was a radio interview on BBC Essex, although I will no doubt be corrected if I am wrong.

When I get time I will trawl through the historic posts - I'm sure to find it somewhere.

A word of warning when you play them away.

Watch out for the old floodlight failure trick - especially if you are winning. It was an old favourite of Canvey's, no doubt the old burger King still has it tucked away in his locker.

Give him a good stuffing for old times sake.
