Rhodes i couldnt be bothered to find the post again, but It has come to my knowledge that the "great" Tommy Lambourne is now playing sunday league football having not found a club since Ruislip!

Any Comments?

Well he has obviously gone back to his roots, Hackney Marshes and Wanstead Flats style, but maybe that's what he prefers at the end of the day and where he feels most comfortable, afterall after his experiences at Haringey and Ruislip Manor the poor guy must be totally disolusioned with life as must his dad Dave.

Why would TL be disillusioned? Maybe he's just accepted that he isn't good enough and is playing a level he enjoys and can get a game?

PS Having not really seen him play I'm not actually saying he isn't good enough..

I did think When tommy left Ruislip rhodes would have used his contacts to get the man he describes as "Conference Standard" over to KTFC, i am still at a loss wondering why this never happened!

Well there is still time and I am planning to, I gather he is still registerred to Ruislip Manor so I will have to make a seven day approach to the Grosvenor Vale heirarchy.

Well that's loyalty for you, Lambourne puts in three great seasons for Haringey and was the proud Captain all of last season and now you are extracting the Michael out of him, that's a poor show. Incidentally what has happened to the Great Glenn Shurety these days as I don't see his name mentioned in John Bacon's match reports in the Tottenham Journal, has he left the Club in disgust too.

Rhodes i thought you and glenn where bedroom buddies?? if this was the case you would know that he is a proud father of a new baby and has had to take the responsibility of another job in supporting the young sprog! i am at a loss as to why you dont know this, i thought you would have been high on his christmas card list!! or he would have at least given you a a regular email, or was it that you was telling porkies about your relationship with him?

As for Tommy Lambourne, and spirited lad he is, i am sure he would see the funny side of a nickname such as Tommy Lambshank, or when somone said he looked like oliver Kahn and use it as a motivation to prove people wrong! again i say rhodes, i thought you knew him well?? if you did you would know what a spirited character he is and would take it on the chin,

Rhodes did you know either of them at all? from your last post it would seem thhat you was a hi and bye man rather then the bed warmer you have previously claimed to be!!!!!

3praise - No not at all, I don't believe Glenn is on e-mail and I wouldn't have thought that having a new bouncing baby would interfere with his football, if he's short of a few quid I'm surprised that the Club haven't helped him out of a tight spot by slipping him a brown envelope now and again to show a bit of loyalty for all his years service and allow him to continue to ply his trade at Coles Park.

That would be a lovely Gesture and i am sure the ever so generous Chairman did think about it, but money dont grow on tree's! and sometimes you have to accept it when a proud father like glenn puts his family before football, furthermore Rhodes slipping brown envelopes to expectant dad's could cause a north london baby boom - with Haringey turning into daddy day care, and Josie attaining another job as club Nanny!
