I was trying to decide what icon to have for the post but could decide as there are plus's and negatives. Brags, Beats and Variance...

Brag - Knee is making excellent progress and is standing up well to the gym work without pain or reaction to exercise. It's slow progress at this point. I have totally lost the limp now and the random swelling (knee) seems to have gone. Target is still to start non contact light footie training some time early March with a view to maybe getting a couple of games under the belt before the end of the season.

Beat - This is bloody scary!! I've kept a regular track of my weight over the last 10 years and always used the same machine in Boots, Stevenage Town centre. Well decided to do the first one of the new year and went in to find a new machine. I'm going to be writing to Boots to get them check the machine out as it's obviously faulty smirk

It's one of those ones that measures your height, weight, works out BMI and also tells you your body fat %.

Scary Reading!! My last weigh in was 11/08/06 at 92kg (14st 6lbs), my last weight while fit(ish) and playing regular was 88.4kg (13st 12lbs)

==============

Height 5'10.8" 1.80m

Weight 15st 2lbs 96.2kg

BMI 29.7 ("MORE THAN 25: OVERWEIGHT")

Body Fat - See poll

It kindly tells me at the bottom of the ticket...

"Your BMI is over 28, you could DOUBLE your chances of losing weight on the Boots Pharmacy Weight Loss Program. See you pharmacist for more details or visit www.bootsaremanipulativecnuts.co.uk"

The variance part of all this is that I'm quite glad not to be training and playing in the current conditions!!

See if you can guess my body fat %.. guide on ticket is;

Excellent 14.5

Good 21.5

Average 24.5

Poor 31.2

OMG you lardy f*cker 35+

I've decided I need to see a hypnotist or something! Did 12K on the bike at lunch, another 10 mins on the cross trainer and some other weight work.....
