A shame we didn't see more of him - if he had been able to force his way into the first team, his preference for playing as an orthodox winger could have balanced our team a little better.

Whilst I agree that it was a pity we didn't see move of Anderson.

Surely there would have been very little point of playing with an orthodox winger, when there isn't a target man in the squad for the orthodox winger to 'hit'.

Not necessarily, as Keeling's fine record earlier in the season of setting up goals with low crosses behind the opposition backline demonstrates.

a good winger will win games he doesnt need a target man as he gets behind the defence and causes havoc, any number of players can get on the end of his crosses.

In the 20 minutes I saw him, he looked very useful.

Just hope that Akinde doesn't get disillusioned with warming the bench just like Ekoku did.

We are crying out for a big lad up front - if LD thinks they are good enough for the bench, then surely they are worth 20 minutes on the pitch?
