Are now Eighty Pounds better off!

 

Dropped the cheque off to a charming lady this afternoon after eventually finding it. It's right in the middle of a housing estate.

 

Looks like a worthwhile cause as there were a number a children there and all with big smile on their faces... especially the one who'd just found a newly laid goose egg that she was allowed to take home.

 

I left the forum address with the lady as she said the owner usually likes to contact to say thanks.

Folks - What can I say except thanks again for your kind generosity, I wasn't entirely sure how the payment would actually be made but thanks NeutralFan for taking time out to go there in person, I could see you were a decent sort when we met at Hoddesdon the other week. It seems that my weeks exile from here before Christmas not only benefitted you lot but the City Farm to the tune of £80 which is a considerable sum to them, I will gladly disappear from view again sometime in the future however you may have noticed that I have been a reformed character since I came back and it's Gavin who is now the Forum 'whipping boy'. Thanks again.
