I Don't beleive in omens but it is my birthday on sat 13th (43) so am looking forward to a great game of football and a good result for Trotty & co. Lets hope the weather is kind. I am not gonna make any predictions but a reversal of a chldhood memory of my ninth bithday 34 years ago would be the icing on the cake!! By the way anyone know what the verdict is on welford after he was carried off the pitch on sat againsty kfc?

It was Warren Shultz. Ankle!

Next game v Worthing. Going to be a lot more difficult than when we played them down there. New additions to the squad, playing with fire in their bellies, getting good results too, so we have to be on our toes & not think back to that emphatic victory down there. They will be up for it & they are on a roll.Hopefully we will not underestimate them & be just as up for it as they will be.We have to treat EVERY team with respect but not to OVER respect them.

Every game for any opposition no matter who it is is a Cup Final to them playing the league leaders.

They have nothing to lose but everything to gain!

We have to be on our toes & WANT the victory more than they do on the day & work bloody hard for the victory because it wont happen if we dont.

Spoke to Warren yesterday after the game. He had been studded half way up the shin and as he went down his ankle got caught underneath him. He said it swelled up twice its usual size but luckily he was able to walk on it. He had not made a decision on whether to go to hospital or not and I think he was going to leave it will the morning and assess it then.

If you haven't watched the highlights of the Bromley v Worthing game you might want to here.Just to see how Worthing got their goals & how they played on that day & how they have improved if indeed they have. Anything you can see in Worthings play that our lads could possibly exploit. I can see one in paeticular but I shall wait to see if any others notice the same before I mention it.There is also something we have to be careful about & this might tie in my first observation.Have a look for yourselves & see if I can get some agreement, please!

Not a lot I could spot in those highlights that our lads could exploit (looked like the pitch had deteriorated since we were there, and the very strong wind was influential), but the Worthing goals illustrate how they've grown in confidence. I always believe that shooting from distance is a sign of confidence, and thet've got it at the moment! Other than that, the commentator's crystal ball is great....the 'out of sync' commentary was weird as he managed to tell us what happened before it did!!

Agree there sss, Worthing defence did look a little slow. Thought Bromley attacks were very strong and they should have won on balance. Lobs from Worthing looked on target although the second goal only appeared to go in because it took a deflection. Remember, we have taken three points from Chelmsford, Bromley, Horsham and Hampton and Richmond. Doesn't give us the right to just turn up but if worthing allow us to play football we are the stronger side. Lets hope for decent weather and a good crowd to cheer the lads on!

I noticed that they played with a square back three & they didn't play too deep either.Balls through the middle of them for others to run onto or over the top to run onto would see us create chances galore & this is where the "beware" bit comes in.Timing those runs without being offside as we usually are.Obviously the fine football we play can also get us through too. This dosen't mean they will play the same way here but they obviously had a plan that night & maybe they will go with it again. Then again maybe they wont..I thought their goals were quite fluky to be honest.Bromley must have really kicked themselves for letting that game slip.
