Should Slough Town FC Stay next season at Stag Meadow or Go to a different ground?

its not a staright forward yes or know... the pitch has been a let down this season..we all knows that , but other pitches are not fairing well either at this time..

 

so lots of things to think about...

Saw this on the Maidenhead forum - they beat Windsor 2-1 in the berks and bucks in front of 87 people....

"I know York Road isn't the smartest but was reminded last night of what a dump Slag Meadow is (pub across the road quite pleasant though!). Feel sorry for the Slough fans who have to go there every other week - would be good to get them to groundshare with us next season if a return to Slough continues to allude them although our playing surface will need much care and attention in the summer to make that feasible. The Loser pitch looked pretty good last night, much superior to our's and it has two teams playing on it!"

Don't confuse the ground with the football. Theatre of Slug may not be great, but the people in the bar and tea-bar are friendly, the pub over the road's OK and the parking's easy (unlike York Road). When we were beating Walsall we though it was OK. And if we move we'd lose some of the people that have got into the habit of turning up.

 

I think we should resist moving unless it's back to Slough.

If you take out the 3 Windsor voters it would 4 to 1 against staying.
