Yet another post about yet another Edgware win

First of all, I was more then supprised that the game even went ahead, from phone calls this morning to the club, then arrving at Edgware to wait for a call from CSP, then even on the team bus we kept thinking the game would be off.

 

On arrival the pitch did not look too bad, but then it started to rain again, and we thought it would be off before kick off, or duing the match.

 

The condtions played a major part in the game, but to be fair both us and CSP tried to play the ball around.

 

 

CSP took an early lead whilst we were asleep, but Edgware started to get into the game, and scored two good goals before HT

 

CSP hit back in the second half, and it looked like it was going to be a draw, till Ben Hayden scored from all of 40 yards with a thumping shot.

 

We battled till the end and took the 3pts.

 

It was nice to see the players and management of Harefield United 'cheering us on, as well as those from Leverstock Green

This new site is just [****!!****], sorry but it is, I know that Ian does all the work and provides a service for many football fans, but I dont see why it needed to be changed. I am not alone in my thoughts, many others have aired the same views, and some have even stopped logging on.

 

I have to go the long way round to posting pics now, as I have to include links, so need to post them on my blog site first, then some still cant view them for whatever reasons.

its my siganture you are presumably talking about gavin and it is a reference to the fact that rhodes WILL as promised be eating two fedoras at the Challenge Trophy final based on his previous comments.

 

I presume Stuart Levy and the rest of the Harefield lot were there hoping to see you lose. They were at the Manor v Edgware game before Christmas also hoping for an Edgware defeat.

Shame, thats twice they left unhappy then. It's one thing coming to 'spy' on another team, but openly cheering for the opposistion to beat them is another!

 

Still when we got our 3rd goal our celebrations were enough to make the Harefield contingent leave en masse
