I am a season ticket holder but obviously there is not a ticket in the book to cover a replayed league game so my suggestion would be this.....

Why don't we all pay at the gate and look on it as helping the club we all support in there bid for a play-off place.

Before anyone gets too pissed off with this suggestion how about sparing a thought for the loyal few from Halifax who spent a lot more than we did on todays game, got soaked, saw there team get nothing from a good position and will have to pay a fortune to come back down on a tuesday night.

Out of interest, had the match been called off before 45mins, fans are entitled to their money back... just wondering how that would work? Fans don't get entrance tickets, so what's to stop anybody (apart from honesty) collecting more than one lot of gate money!?

Well, if this is the attitude of the Halifax supporters, then I'm glad the game was called off with them leading :-

Swearing is apparently ok, so is walking in without paying and so is giving opposition fans abusive gestures - these are the sort of "fans" that give a club a bad name.

It's all our fault, we made the rain blah blah blah.

With the amount of rain we've had no amount of forking the pitch will save the day.

It's all our fault the idiot got thrown out though.

I got on quite well with the team we played in the morning as I don't go round looking to start a fight with everyone I meet, some I met at the match though were stupid. I don't know what game they were watching saying "didnt look like scoring at all". Another classic from the Notherners guide to being a moron was "Gravesend wanted the game off and to me that makes them cheats." Gravesend wanted the game off, why? The period that was played in the second half we were all over them.

What they also fail to mention is that the pitch was perfectly playable until the rain came down in absolute torrents, which really only happened at th end of half-time and as the players came out for the second half. It was that single donwpour that was responsible for the puddles and waterlogging the pitch, so the only time a groundsman could have tried to 'rescue' the situation would have been in the magical 15 minutes the ref set aside to 'assess' the situation, when anyone with half a brain knew that sending a bloke out with a pitchfork and a roller would not have made the slightest bit of difference.

it was my turnstile they both trid to jump, caught one red handed and made him pay, they both lied out of there teeth, and as for the one who got ejected he should be banned from football for life,as he got done at there last away game. What an IDIOT for owning up to it. and it was like 30 seconds not 10 minutes like they said
