I would like to see Kentish Town win the league in div 1, being they are a local club

 

Horace, I am sure was gutted when he found out the score from our game. Had we have drawn or lost they would have had a game in hand over us and been 'just' 11 or 12 behind us, now they are.....14 pts behind us, though they have a game in hand.

Brimsdown and Cockfosters are my local SSML Div 1 Clubs and there are a lot of past and present PBT players at Hoddesdon so they are the three clubs that I like to see doing well.

What I was gutted about, Gavin, was that jammy Edgware were lucky enough to get a third game completed while we got none! (the fact that you won them all rubbed salt in the wound, of course!)

Horace we are not Jammy, just good. The fact that you got no games played is your probelem not ours.

 

You now have to travel to oxhey in midweek, and play Harefield in midweek, both games in midweek I am sure you could have done without.

 

So we are now 14pts ahead of you, even if you win your game in your hand you will still be 11pts behind us

Being good didn't enable you to get 3 games in while we completed none. Winning them WAS down to you being good. My point is that, of all people, it had to be you who got the three completed games in when hardly anyone else was playing! That's jammy!

Ok point taken Horace. I would much rather get the games completed now then face a fixture backlog, later in the season where you could be playing Tue/Thur/Sat.

 

That was the main reason I was glad the game went ahead yesterday at Chalfont, it was a strange day becuase at various times we kept thinking the game would not be on.

 

In the end it made the win more satifsying becuase ours was the only game played.

So would I - the point is it was jammy Edgware who got the luck on two successive Saturday's and the Tuesday in between!, and not anyone else! You need all the help you can get don't you? As if it's not enough being allowed to replay a game you lost, God is helping you too!
