And just like at Horsham, where we actually had a full squad of 16 players for a change, we can't play. If this carries on for much longer then we really are going to struggle to complete our fixtures.

In fact the Isthmian league site has already given a new date for the fixture - Tuesday 23rd January.

Very frustrating. We desperately need to play games particularly with a few new players in the squad who are not able to train properly. Fingers crossed for Tuesday.

We currently have 5 games to make up. 2 of which were postponed/abandoned at away games the other 3 are home games.

 

Carries on like this we could be playing 3 games a week!

Not to mention playing catch for the rest of the season, there's bound to be more games postponed/abandoned in the next 2 months.

If the Reading pitch is not passed fit do you expect a game to be played at Stag Meadow? I thnk not.

Agree Dom with this match, but the thing that gets me is that we were promised the 'best' pitch in non-league football, and lets be honest it's probably one of the worst. Yes I know it has two teams playing on it but so do other pitches ie Leighton Town and Northwood and they seem to cope fine. There's been a tram line down the pitch all season!

To be fair to Windsor, after i heard the game was off, I carried on my train journey to London to hang out with a mate and find a non league game in London - at least 10 i checked from Fisher to North Greenford - was off. Only Dagenham was on, and i couldn't be bothered to go there...

Easy, football was 'on' at Mercian way rec. Pay the council 600 quid for the whole season,save the fortune W & E bleed us, rope off the pitch and we can play & save a fortune.
