OK, just read locals message on the soap box, and can see that a deal ahs been done to remove threads.

But I would like to make this point.

The Billericay supporters and message board users never start threads that attack or undermine other clubs officials or finances.

I know the board of Chelmsford very well, perhaps better than many of the Chelmsford fans, and you will never see us attack your club, its officials, or its finances, other than on the odd occasion of retaliation.

I know better than the majority of you posters how hard it is has been for the Chelmsford Board to get the club where it is. I know better than the majority of your posters of how hard it is to run a football club.

This is a job that Paul and Peter do on the behalf of their supporters; it’s a job that all non league officials do for the benefit of their club, and their supporters.

So, for any Chelmsford supporters that thinks its a sport to behave in the way in which they have done today, consider this.

Billericay may have risen to your bait to a certain degree, but they never overstepped the mark.

We are all of the same family, we are all non league, striving to move on, striving to continue supporting our respective clubs, let’s spare a thought for slough because they are also members of our family.

Billericay love the banter with Chelmsford, but, imo, a very small number of you should show a little more respect to other clubs and consider what they have written before they hit that post button. You would not like it one little bit if supporters of other clubs were to respond with similar type postings re Chelmsford

Having said that, the vast majority of Chelmsford supporters are some of the best supporters it's ever been my pleasure to meet. And because you did ground share with us, I do know many of those nice guys, and I feel confident when I say, those nice guys will be just a tad embarrassed by some of your comments.

So let’s keep the Banter football related. (Didn’t I make a similar post last year, oh well)

Conference team yer avin a larf...conference team yer avin a larf

Not a deal TC, just an appeal for common sense on BOTH sides, which was agreed to. NO credit in the end to anyone, regardless of who the posters where. It was becoming ridiculously venomous, spurred on by posters from other clubs.

Time and a chance to end it was needed.

But was there any need to suggest that I was lying?

I'd leave it TC. No good asking that question. Alternate Universe riegns. There is another thread on the Sloppy which could spin out of control...Someone makes an appeal and then they start postering again...

Lets get out of this league and leave 'em behind fer Pete's sake!!!
