Forecast and team for tomorrow

Aside from the good luck thread, thought i'd kick off the predictions thread this week.

 

I'd happily take a draw tomorrow-no SM and looks like LP suspended so team needs to re-shape itself a bit.

They are all tough games,and have no idea how we will do tomorrow,but whilst wanting the win, i'd be happy with a draw.

 

My team would be:

 

SCS

 

Oates,Sappleton,Trott,Skinner

 

Abbott,Saunders, Standen JJ

 

Hocton,Pinnock.

 

I reckon RT will play Wisker in midfield though in place of Standen,or maybe even ask JJ to play in central midfield and bring Dolton in on the wing.

On form, maybe both Standen and Wisker or Dolton should play with Abbo as sub.

 

There again, from our 29 man squad and excluding those on loan, RT could play:

 

Rowlands

Smith, Williams,Donovan Hickman

Stellon.Hoggart,Wisker,Dolton

Bagley Pulman.

 

Would'nt that be interesting.

I reckon that team would win tomorrow aswell as they would play their nuts off.

 

and to think we were complaining about strength in depth at one stage !!

these games against lower teams are now must win games draws will not win the league.we can win this 3-1

Win every home game Steve and draw every away game -average 2 points a game and we won't be far off.

85 points will get runners up i reckon.

This year with teams taking points off each other, i reckon 86 points will win the league,so yes we do need a couple of away wins aswell.

I'd take a bet now, that 90 points would definately win the league this year

 

 

Braintree went unbeaten from Christmas last year and we need to do the same.

I think thats a bit of a daft reply SSS,imo,if there pitch is as bad as I have heard then it could make all the difference,ie,we have to adapt,they dont,I know the GATE have been there and done it before,it just bothers me thats all.

Cant see how Smith can come in to replace Oates. Oates has the experience & with two major players out we will be needing that experience out there. Besides Oates has done well of late.Jackson will be sorely missed if he drops back. Most of out attacks stem from his fabulous crossing of the ball.

I can't imagine what formation & team Trotty will put out there so wont comment further. E.T are doing o.k of late & its going to be a real slog out there. I too would be happy with a draw but a draw at the least. Come on you blues give us a victory with an understrength side. Now that WOULD be good!

Apparently its going to be very very wet from the morning onwards tomorrow so there is always a chance that the game might not go ahead at all. Depends on the state of their ground obviously.
