Leon is a quality striker and with good service will score you a lot of goals,he was at Cheshunt a few years ago and has improved since moving onto Wood,good luck to Leon and Chris and hope they do well for you at St Albans.

Not necessarily.

In an ideal world and all that but 1)anyone in that category is probably full time and paid accordingly and 2) if they are that good, their managers are not going to let them go. In light of that, Sangare joining is a masterstroke, possibly helped, though, by the mess Grays are in at the moment.

As far as Leon Archer and Chris Watters are concerned, I agree they are moving up 2 leagues but we are buying potential here. I would sooner do that than sign 2 ageing ex-league players on the way down at the speed of light, who only turn up to collect their wages. Seen too much of that in the past.
